When a relative came for a brief stay in my house recently, he tried connecting his Windows XP laptop to my wifi router which is secured with WPA2 encryption. He got the following error:. On the specific network I am trying to connect to now, it connects fine, the router assigns an IP address, but there is no internet connection. I know the hardware works with WAP2, because I have Joli OS installed to dual boot, and it works perfectly fine, leading me to believe that it is either a driver issue, or an issue with XP.

Could this potentially cause a problem? I know the settings are specific to the properties of each network, but I used a program downloaded from my school website that configured this netowork Link to school site explaining this procedure , and maybe it changed some setting somewhere that could be causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and let me know if there is any other information you would like to know that may help, Erik.
