Uniblue free driver scan

Tried everything, but could not update the drivers I suspected I needed. Finally I installed DriverScanner and when the proposal on the new drivers were just the ones I failed to update, I decided to pay for the program. Soon after, the long-awaited drivers where installed and now everything works just fine! I did not however install the other two programs I was offered. I have no need for these - and they are subject to even more criticism in various forums. Sonja Martin. What is this program? I hate sounding computer illiterate but this is the 1st computer i've ever owned and had to maintain on my own. My computer keeps telling me something it has found, is ancient, then asks me to download this unibue. I checked in my programs and it is listed but it won't accept the serial number i have on the certificate in my programs and asks me to purchase online. Please help.
