This review will NOT be spoiler free. If you aren't up to date and you want to read it for yourself, I suggest you don't read any further! Summary: The story starts off with Rick and his group heading back from "The Hilltop" on the way they are stopped by four men from Negan's group, who demand for them to surrender everything they have. Rick's group refuses and dispatches of them quickly enough, then continues their journey back to regroup with everyone else.

When they return we learn that Maggie is pregnant and Rick fills everyone in on what he learned while he was gone. The it cuts to the next day, Eugene and Abraham are out in town searching for something. They then try to used Eugene as a hostage to get into the town, but he escapes his captor by biting him on the dick lol. Rick's group then kills some of them, but the rest escape.

After the attack everyone is mourning Abraham's death, and Glenn expresses his desire to move to "The Hilltop" to Maggie. Rick then decides to return to "The Hilltop" to seek out some assistance. Glenn also lets them know that Maggie, Sophia, and himself are going to move there. Then the group consisting of Rick, Carl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Sophia, and that black guy with glasses can't remember his name for the life of me hahaha decide to head out.

On the way there they get ambushed and we finally see Negan for the first time and he is backed by about fifty men. He tells them they have to start giving them half their stuff and that as punishment for killing his men he is going to kill one of them. He lines them up and picks one of them at random and that one happens to be Glenn.

He bashes his head in with a baseball bat and tells them he will be back in a week for their stuff. They then finish their trip to "The Hilltop" ,where Glenn is buried and Maggie decides to stay there with Sophia.

Then Rick and the rest, now accompanied by Jesus, head back to meet up with the rest to tell them what happened. When they return they find that while they were gone another group attacked the town, but there were no casualties on their side and they even got a hostage. After thinking about it for awhile Rick decides that it would be better to accept the deal Negan offered instead of fighting them.

Rick then releases the hostage, which no one is happy about, to return to his group. After he does so he tells Jesus to follow him and learn everything about Negan"s group that he can and that he can't tell anyone about their real plan for their own sake and that's where the volume ends. My Thoughts: This whole volume was a roller coaster of emotions for me,with the main emotion being pissed.
