Meyco will not be responsible for and this Warranty will not apply to any damage to the cover caused by but not limited to any of the following: Impact from other objects including but not limited to falling objects.

Animal damage, including but not limited to pets, farm animals, rodents or other wild animals. Neglect or abuse of the cover. Cover must remain drum tight while in use. UV or other damage due to solar reflection.

Hurricane, flooding, hail or other extreme weather. Contact with the cover by any decking or coping that is rough, unprotected or unsanded. Storage or placement of any objects on the cover. Exposure to excessive heat or cold, sparks i. Damage to the cover due to Chlorine or other chemicals applied directly to, over, or through the cover.

Each season is equivalent to 1 year. Using the cover all year round would constitute excessive use and will age the cover more rapidly and will void your warranty. Discoloration, fading or irregularities in print or pattern are NOT covered by this Warranty. If a valid warranty claim is received by Meyco during the first three years from the date of original purchase we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the cover, without cost to the owner.

All Warranty claims require cover to be returned to Meyco Pool Covers FREIGHT PREPAID for inspection For any valid warranty claim received by Meyco after that time, but prior to the expiration of the warranty, owner will be responsible for a portion of the cost of the repair or replacement, based on the retail price of a new cover of the same dimensions or current repair pricing, according to the following table.

Under no circumstances shall Meyco be responsible for labor costs associated with the removal, shipment or re-installation of any cover. Meyco is also not responsible for any other expenses, consequential, incidental or otherwise. As with any safety product, however, it will only work if used as instructed. If the cover appears torn or damaged, then you must STOP using it as a safety cover. Make sure your pool is maintained and protected in accordance with applicable state or local barrier codes.

Other things to look for include, threads being broken or missing, wear of the reinforcing strips at the bottom of the cover, webbing becoming frayed, excessive fading of material or material becoming stiff or brittle.

Non-secured or improperly secured covers are a hazard. Do not walk on cover except in an emergency.
