I have found a way to consistently load games on my computer If my PC has been running and I have been doing other tasks the save games will not load. Nothing else has seemed to work except for this. Also strange that starting a brand new game always loads, but loading a savegame results in nothing.

I also had temporary success in using the dx12 beta with the rebooting but its since stopped working. This is super frustrating, squareenix we would really like some sort of resolution or acknowledgement of this bug.

This is a massive issue for me. I have not been able to get more than a hour into the game because of this. Either after saving and quitting the game or after a death when the games load screen comes up the meter bar in the lower right gets to the same point and it just sits there. Alright so what was causing it for me seemed to be the fact that I had more than one physical processor. Setting the affinity to half of my cpus fixed the loading issues I had permanently. So for me after the game loaded to the menu, I'd alt tab, in the task manager go to Details. Find the DX. Hopefully this helps anyone else with a dual cpu setup. I too have multiple CPUs on the system that would crash.

Thanks for posting this! Basically, the Y-axis is a fraction of the speed of X-axis. Currently, this is not an issue of the game because the developers announced that the support for DirectX would come at a later date.

So you just need to wait until that happens. Some players are experiencing a black screen when they try to play the game in fullscreen mode or when some cutscene appears.
